Default Comp shutting down and blue screen popping up

When playing gw, in certain areas my comp shuts down and a blue screen pops up, general info on comp:

I have: 3.20 GHZ, 512 MB of RAM, 512 RAM, nvidia GEFORCE 7600 GC
PCI Express

Adaptor type: Diamond X300SEHM-PCIE 256MB

Chip Type: RADEON X300/X550 Series

Internal DAC (4000MHz)

Memroy Size: 256 MB

When it the blue screen pops up it says:

BAD_POOL_HEADER

BAD_POOL_CALLER

NO_IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS_THAN

49 processes running in the background

I can't play nightfall because my comp shuts down in Kamadan and intro movie for nf

My comp ran perfectly till about 2-3 months ago, not sure what is going on with it, have had gw for 7 months and it just started out of the blue

Help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Also restarts half the time when I farm gates of kryta, outside jade flats (kurzick), sometimes in LA, etc, etc

I've got a similar Computer to yours, Raedon etc.

I've had the same problem a few times and have no idea what it's about - I know it only happens with Guildwars though, and the whole computer reboots.
Unfortunately it always reboots before I have a chance to read the error message.

Also I can't say it always happens at a particular point of the game.

Sorry, that's about as much help as I can be.

That same thing happens to me except I don't get a blue screen. Or error message. I'm pretty sure my problem is due to overheating but Guild Wars is the only game that does this. Not even Oblivion overheats after an hour of playing. Guild Wars will after 15 mins. A desktop fan blowing on my machine fixes this. But it is just strange to me.

I think your memory fried. I used to have 1GB memory on my desktop (this) and one stick fried (overheated) and I got those as well.

i have above recommended specs for this game.. and before whatever recent update... my pc has never bsod while playing GW.. or any other game but while farming for emblems yesterday.. whatever mission that is.. at certain points kept getting bsod.. so, dunno. i just turned down graphics settings in game and used default settings for my card in ATI until something worked.. which for now it is but.. it's ugly. :/
